“PSilver Lake is one of the Outdoor Ministry sites of the Southern New England Conference of the UCC. It was purchased in 1957 and has nurtured generations of Congregational and United Church of Christ children, families, youth, and adults. It has also been the site for adult retreats and training events as well as for outside groups such as school system outdoor education events.
5 winterized buildings and many summer-use buildings are on site, as well as a High Ropes and Low Ropes Course with trained facilitators. The crowning jewel is Silver Lake itself, Mudge Pond on State maps with our waterfront swimming and boating area.
Everyone is invited to “Play in God’s Backyard” at Silver Lake.
